Also note that the post literally is responding to someone else using the word "liberal" in order to imply France is somehow "not liberal" by opposing American wokeism. (That being incoherent, as in European terms wokeism is regarded as an illiberal tendency.) Maybe that was you, seeing the similarities in vocabulary?
