It's obvious. Why deny it?
Cry me a river. Many top departments barely have 2 faculty (if that) who actually study race. Now that jobs are being advertised specifically for race scholars, people want to complain...
there's always race jobs. Sometimes I think it's kinda unfair the sociologists want race scholars to also be non-white. What if a black dude wants to study something else besides black dudes?

That’s the point that critics of KW’s thread are making... even if you study education, health, work, etc., race is still central to these social domains.

What is the optimal number of race scholars in a dept? Enlighten us, genius.
Funny, you making this statement while not knowing how seriuosly I'm taken is the reason why I know you're d/u/m/b.
If you're a sociologist and your work doesn't address race, class, and sex/gender in a significant way I don't take you seriously.
Funny, its this kind of mentality that is exactly th reason why nobody outside of sociology takes you seriously.

Oh yeah, I should have definitely assumed that you were some infinitely successful sociologist who is taking a break from testifying on Capitol Hill about policy implications to share your opinions on SJMR, instead of a weasily pre-comped grad student who read DuBois for the first time.
You're really leaning into your d/u/m/b/n/e/s/s.
Way to stay true to yourself.
