    this thread tells me a lot about the modal SJMR bro. Abbott, Gorski, and Alexander wouldn't even be in my Top 50, maybe not even Top 100. Aside from Collins, Swidler, and Brubaker (who had that one great book back in the day) I don't think any of the people named here are even contenders.

    I am the greatest living sociologist. Ask anybody. I know more about sociology than anyone. My sociology is great. Tremendous sociology, the best. All the other sociologists. . . they don’t know what they’re doing. My sociology? Great stuff. Of course, Fake News Journals ASR and AJS always "forget" to publish my work even though the ratings for my ideas videos are "through the roof." I think nobody knows more about sociology than I do, maybe in the history of the world.
