And why? Go!…
What are the best crim jobs to be had this year?

Georgia State is hiring. Looks like they want a cyber person. That’s a pretty good department I think. It’s in a policy school and they have some good people. Plus, it’s in Atlanta, which is a good size city with housing cheaper than DC or NY. I think the chair is Richard Wright. He’s kind of a big name in Crim circles.

Lots of people don’t want to work with CB. it’s a shame for the rest of the department

That scene where he kil/ls a rat with a skillet is seared into my brain.

Some doc students have decided not to apply there specifically because of her.
I?ve never seen anyone at GSU say they don?t want to work with CB or say anything bad about her. You? Maybe it?s selection bias. They hired her after all.Who cares about undergreads who don’t even go there? Maybe next you can consult some Tibetan monks?

I mean people on the market are actively avoiding her and the department. This is about jobs, hence the post.

“Lots of people” don’t matter if those people are lozers. She’s an elite level criminologist at the Associate Professor level. The people who don’t want to work with her aren’t good enough to get a job with GA State CJ anyhow, so who cares?
