who passes as white and benefits from white privilege, but is really in fact b/lack because he had asthma as a child.
Cancel this race exploiter ASAP plz.
Even if his self-description were true, that would still mean he was probably more than 90% white (he claims one black great-grandparent -- but the typical African American is not 100% black African, more like 75%). But all evidence suggests he is lying about even that.
"I’m a light-skinned black man who grew up with my darker-skinned younger brother. "
"When we were children, white people often questioned whether we were related, insisted we must have had different fathers, or simply regarded me as a kind of unfortunate eugenic quirk. As an adult, white folks typically think I’m white, and when I tell them otherwise, they often respond with shock."
"Although I can pass as white, and this has undoubtedly made my life easier in many spaces, my life has still been shaped by a lack of intergenerational wealth and by asthma, both of which were shaped by being born in a segregated black neighborhood."

I have a couple lines in my ancestry that are only 12.5%, and I do claim them as important parts of my heritage, because, for example, my grandparents were very connected to those cultures and passed that down to my parents and then to me. But I would never, for example, say "I am a joo" just because I'm 12.5% Jooish.
based on what EVIDENCE? not what math equation.
in other words, where did you get his ancestry info?
one grandparent white, one grandparentt half black.. one parent white, one parent 25% black.. VR = 12.5% black
and based on what evidence, the 87.5% number was estimated?
