I believe the victims. Even Sylvia.

The fact that all the posts defending EAG and attacking SH are happening so quickly, ok. Actually, you guys posted so often just to get the posts on page 1 out of immediate view. Someone is trying for a PR campaign in support of EAG in hopes that will somehow sway other things, but it's too late.

^^ before he finally went dark, he deleted a bunch of potentially libelous statements and removed names from other screeds. i don't know if he was actually sued, but it was pretty obvious he was responding to pressure of some sort. the fact that he never explained what he was doing, when he showed no hesitation to talk about any imagined slight, strongly suggests some kind of legal pressure.
Yep. He straight up accused a prof (by name) of sticking two fingers up a female grad students vajayjay. You won't find that accusation anywhere anymore.

As a person of color, I cannot discern between your fear-stricken silence and the silence of white people who don’t think that racism exists, who think that race only emerges as a topic or factor when people of color bring it up (i.e., “playing the race card), or who simply do not value the lives of people of color. The impact of your silence is literally the same as that of Klansmen, Nazis, most white Republicans, and other garden-variety racists.
Well, I really wonder why white people don't talk about race when they know they can be compared to 'Nazis or most Republicans' in seconds, if you don't share someone's random beliefs about race

Someone is paranoid and writing again in the third person, Silvia.

If the above discussion is true, why was it never once brought up on SJMR during literally dozens of conversations about EAG? It's suspicious that this story emerges only after EAG is banned from twitter, and is presented without any backing evidence at all. And so many "different" accounts somehow know about and are talking about something that never came up here before.
It looks like someone is trying to distract from EAG's own history of sexual harassment which likely was the cause of his twitter ban. A federal investigation into this matter is a real thing that was initiated, and can be confirmed with documentation to anyone by private email.

I'll also point out that the pattern of posts on here depicting EAG as somehow a wacky and quixotic, well-intentioned but over-eager activist only started after this thread pointed out that the twitter ban happened. EAG is an extremely abusive sexual predator, has been called out for that repeatedly, is under investigation for that, and was seemingly banned from twitter for that, and is therefore obviously nervous and trying to manipulate social perceptions about what happened.

The thread demonstrates that he was *not* "seemingly banned from twitter" for what you claim. Instead, he was banned from Twitter for having the gall to do PRECISELY what you do anyonymouslg here without the protective comfort of anonymity.

Ironically, by its very nature, academe is a profession of risk taking and boundary breaking. Yet professors regularly train their graduate students to become just like them (because most things worked well for them). Senior colleagues regularly advise tenure-track colleagues against “rocking the boat” to avoid jeopardizing their eligibility for tenure and promotion. Perhaps most frustrating is watching many of those people with the most power and security (e.g., tenured professors and administrators) desperately cling to what is they deem safe (for themselves).

Someone explain what evidence there is behind the narrative that EAG was banned from twitter on account of "activism." Posts here seemed to be made by rapid-succession proxy hopping in order to manipulate understandings of the social media ban. EAG sends violent porn to terrorize rape survivors, which is not a funny thing to do.

One person kept spamming this thread with a completely new narrative, that somehow was never discussed on SJMR before the twitter ban, alleging EAG was banned for whistleblowing about sexual harassment. Notice there are no details at all. That narrative completely turns reality upside down; EAG was part of a gang that engaged in harassment and threats against a sexual assault survivor, including via twitter, as retaliation. EAG is an arch-defender and perpetrator of academic rape culture, trying to create an inverted narrative concerning that is not funny.
