   OP here. I am planning to get the FFVII remake, but I'm gonna wait a few weeks before getting it because I'm sure there will be bugs/patches. So in the meantime I'm gonna replay some classic PSX games.

   Eh. The story doesn't make much sense once you get to about disc 2 but it's still fun gameplay.

   Legend of Legaia. I like FFVIII's storyline. But having to constantly draw magic from enemies is lame and kills playability IMO

   I don't hate it, but the "Oh we all actually knew one another as kids but forgot because of Guardian Forces" thing is silly.

   Also, Riona = Ultimecia.

    Ffviii is a great game but was destined to disappoint after ffvii.

    Ffvii remix will be midgar only, right? Anyone knows how many hours of gameplay that'll be? I don't even own a tv but might end up buying all the tools I need to pay that thing.

    The FF7 remix is indeed only Midgar, but it sounds like they're really blowing up the scale. Just given genre conventions, I can't imagine the main story being less than 30 hours. I'm sure there will also be extensive side quests (hopefully with substance and not just boring fetch quests).

    I'm really hyped, but I don't have a PS4. Was planning to go to my friend's and binge it while getting really stoned, but it seems that plan has been foiled.
