Her acts could qualify as felonious sexual contact under Colorado law -- you think the reason she wasn't charged has something to do with her being a white cis woman? She was one of the worst predators in the discipline (which is saying something) and she was protected by a department and university steeped in culture of sexual harassment.

   But there's not details, maybe because it was not a good idea to give them.

   "Discussing your sex life with students" could be something very inoffensive (e.g. "people like me in their 40s/50s can still enjoy an active sex life") to really gross details. Also, under what circumstances was this shared? In front of a 101 class or maybe when out to drinks with a mixed crowd of grad students and faculty? We don't know.

   The student that she dated. Was it an 18 year old freshman from an intro class? or was it a 45 year old PhD student from another dept? Etc.

   There was no "settlement." She was terminated.
   She was kept on paid leave for two years while the university "investigated," but that is not a settlement. She was fired and shown the door. She did not "walk away" and never agreed to leave and was fighting to maintain her position until the end.

    I used to do a lot of right wing tr/o/lling online when I was in my late teens. I realized that it made me feel empty, and the people online liking my comments were not my real friends.

    I was honestly going to post earlier something about how the site looks like a veiled attempt at offering escort services. I didn't post it before because I was concerned it could seem inappropriate but then again this is SJMR and we're talking about Wilkins...

    Notice how she seems to be going out of her way to display herself as attractive, and tries to emphasize a type of likeability of her personality, like Amy Wilkins is somehow the whole world's sweetheart. This is really only half-joking and is pretty half-serious as an interpretation of the site. it's not like she has any potential of getting any work associated with "social justice" at all given her reputation and how she lost her job before. I would guess there could be a niche market for women in her age range who are former college professors. I've also very honestly heard the word "consulting" used as a euphemism for escorting before. Mentioning her biracial child might even be a subtle way to announce she's open to clients of all races (if you've looked at websites related to escorting especially in Europe, it's not especially uncommon to see women state that they will only see white clients). I'm not intending to offend anyone with this post.
