You're saying the official press release of the organizers of the parade, that announced the parade, is not a reliable source regarding the announcement of the parade being held? How does this make sense?
Also, Har/ry Hay was the one who led the press conference announcing the formation of SOS and the alternate parade, in support of NAMBLA.
Note that Hay was never himself a member of NAMBLA, but prominently supported them and more generally insisted pedophilia to be central to gay liberation.

This is a photograph of the press conference announcing SOS and the alternate parade. You can see Hay in the photo. You can also see the signs directly in front of and behind them: "SOS SPIRIT OF STONEWALL: WE MARCH WITH NAMBLA"
Defending NAMBLA seems rather central to the promotion of the parade, wouldn't you say?

You just spent pages engaging in "strange defenses" of a NAMBLA parade while denying it to be a NAMBLA parade, and pretending the press conference announcing the organization of the parade was somehow not related to the parade itself.
