Do diversity hires usually know they are diversity hires?
-
Yes, but SJW's then made up a fake condition called "impostor syndrome" to try to improve their self-esteem.
Social psych specialist here.
Imposter syndrome is written about by serious psychologist studying a multitude of careers in other areas of life. It’s a serious concept.
Guaranteed this person who spoke out of complete ignorance about psychology also writes regularly about IQ here.

I have been trying so hard to get diversity hired for so long. Where are these departments the value me for being Latino?
I remember one time SC at my old place was looking for a woman or minority. Hired a white guy.Being Latino only is NOT enough diversity points at the moment. You need to either identify as bl@ck, or add another dimension, like being LGBT. B is probably the easiest to fake. Remember even for diversity hire there is a competition (just a different type), and being Latino doesn’t give you much advantage (but still better than Asian males. They are not considered diversity hire in the first place)

I really respect this thread.
After failing to tar and feather Monk and Stewart with the diversity label, you realized that you're not equipped to sit at the table with adults, and you've smartly lowered your sights.
You've come up with the perfect question.
It's incredibly vague and not beholden to evidence and logic.
You crashed and burned twice on the green trails. And, now you've realized that the bunny slopes are you're best bet.
No, diversity hires pretty much all think they earned it because they "worked hard". Just like everyone else in every field, no matter what advantages they had.

Stick to the bunny slopes.
Your best bet is these vague questions that are hard to answer.
This is how we know you're not an academic.
"Do diversity hires usually know they are diversity hires?" couldn't be a paper presented at the national conference of any social science discipline.
Not because the question is too edgy. But because the question is virtually impossible to answer in a scientific manner.
This is duhm. Monk was dragged for lying about his research not for his skills.

Lol okay. I’m not OP and tenured. But you are definitely a certified Moran.

Yes. Personal attacks are more your speed. This fits you.
Like I said, stay away from anything that requires argument, facts, evidence and critical insight.
