   I am starting to see new jobs posted for universities with multiple positions in multiple departments in the same university. GSU (crim and soc), NYU (soc and policy) etc.

   All things being equal, which departments pay better if you have to choose between these three?

   Policy if its at a prestigious U. They pay like economists. Then Crim then Sociology.

   I’ve done the Crim and Soc markets a couple times and there doesn’t seem to be any difference in pay

   Agree that Policy is at the top
