c071 - More like a spiritual sequel, but yes I am excited about that!
910c - I loved Baldur's Gate 2 and especially its expansion, Throne of Bhaal. The story is epic. There are some frustrations with the Infinity Engine games (including Planescape Torment), namely inventory management and pathfinding for your party members. But I would say they are well worth checking out for RPG enthusiasts. The stories are more involving than FFVII.
Morrowind or Baldurs Gate 2
Are those worth playing today, or too dated by now?
Morrowind came out in 02, I played it probably 07. At 5 years old it was still dope, looked and felt pretty, and I played it straight through. Haven't touched it since. But I'd wager it's still worthy playing. That was also the last game I really played before I "grew out of them" (i.e. internalized the social expectation to put away childish things), so I have a particular fond memory of it.
