This means that no decision has been made on your paper yet. If you look at the "session queue", it will tell you what session is considering at the moment.
Thanks! This was helpful. Their interface is a bit clunky...
Sorry to sound like an idiot here, but I'm just trying to confirm.
If the status is "Accepted" and the "Session Queue" lists your top choice first, followed by your alternate session choices below that, does that mean you got accepted into your first choice?
Mine's the exact same. No extra "session" section listed underneath "session queue." I'm guess this is because it's a regular session, so they haven't entirely figured out/entered the sessions they're creating? I guess we'll find out in the next few days/weeks as official acceptance messages are sent out.
Tried calling ASA today for answers to these questions, as someone here suggested earlier. No one answered the Meeting Services extension. Seriously, how hard is it to have a help item that describes each status? I mean was my piece REALLY rejected by my first, second, second alternate, AND round table already??
Here is a crazy question. If the status is rejected right now, does that just mean for the session that is in que right now? Or for all of your choices?
My guess is that it means it's completely rejected. Sorry. When a single session rejects it and it's on its way to the next, the status doesn't turn to "Rejected". It becomes "Unassigned". Sorry. I could be wrong, but that has been my experience.

Is it possible to be rejected even from roundtables? Or does this just happen if you don't list a roundtable option?
^Me too. I was under the impression that you couldn't really be rejected from a roundtable... And it seems hard to believe that all three sessions reviewed and rejected it that fast. Though I kind of thought the same as3764 on the unassigned status. Also, I watched that paper and never saw it cycle through any other session...

LOL. Where are the ASA apologists? Maybe they need to raise fees again and hire someone to man the phones.
