Is this a trend everywhere?
Are you noticing your vaccinated colleagues are mentally slower post-vaccine?

I definitely am. I've noticed that many of my pro-vaxx colleagues are scared to ask me if I've been vaccinated, (I'm not and never will be), and I've noticed they have trouble using the copy machine and ask my help with it. Some ask me for assistance with their PowerPoints when they had no trouble with it before. Hmmm ..... weird, don't you think.
I forgot to mention that. The department secretary. -
It's not all of them, but I'm wondering how universal an experience this is for us and just people in general, I guess. For most of us, we have had very minimal human contact for over a year, have been stuck inside, etc., and I get the feeling it sort of made people go f/e/r/a/l in certain ways, particularly in social situations.
Without getting too specific, I have a colleague who I'll call "Steve." Steve has always had noticeable foibles prior to COVID. Nothing serious, and I suspect he's self aware enough about it to reel it in because when he starts showing odd signs in conversations or meetings, he quiets up for a few moments and then gets normal again.
But that doesn't seem to be the case post COVID.. Our campus was mostly shut down during COVID, but with people getting vaccines faculty are now pretty regularly around the office, although this has slowed up since the spring semester ended. Anyway, when Steve starting coming back to campus, he seemed to lose all sort of social decorum. In May, for example, he brought his p/i/g named Oinkie to the office and started f/*/c/k/i/n/g it while s/h/o/u/t/i/n/g "h/y/u/c/k, h/y/u/c/k, h/y/u/c/k, h/y/u/c/k!"
I should pause here. You see, my colleague Steve is from Waynesboro, Georgia. Where he is from, this is apparently regular behavior as I learned when I confronted him about this. Everyone from this town does this, usually while drinking b/a/t/h//t/u/b m/o/o/n/s/h/i/n/e which they believe cures the gum disease known as gingivitis, of which they all s/u/f/f/e/r from, without exception.
This has now become a regular thing for him, and I regularly hear p/i/g c/o/i/t/u/s when working on campus. It’s very uncomfortable. Is anyone else experiencing this with their colleagues, particularly those from the s/o/u/t/h?

I feel mentally sharper post vaccine. Easily can write for hours each day. And I have longer se/cul stamina too
You must be the only one, almost everyone reports the opposite. What could plausibly be the mechanism in the vaccine that would cause someone to become mentally sharper? It seems it often causes many adverse reactions including to the brain and nervous system. I don't see how that could benefit one's cognitive process.

You don’t know what you’re talking about lol. It’s amusing. But sad too.
